Groningen - A-kwartier

In the A-quarters in the northwest town prostitution takes place in a street that changes twice by name: Fish Hoek - Hoekstraat - Wall Street. The total length of 850 meters are 51 prostitution windows in small groups. The bulk of the street is occupied. The street also has three bars, two cafeterias, a dance hall, a hairdresser and a sex shop. The building is very varied. The alignment of the southern gable wall jumps 15 times, often with about 1½ meters. The buildings look neatly maintained. The pavement is in poor condition and is moderately kept clean, which may have to do with the structure of corners and obstacles.
